Burk Family

Well last week was quite eventful.... and of course filled with fun! Well it all started Friday afternoon when my MOM and ASHLEY came to visit us! That was WONDERFUL! It's always nice having your mom when you need her. She helped us a lot with the house and Brookie. Ashley really helped with Brookie and it was nice that Brookie was getting some attention from her auntie and Grandma. When we get all of our pictures uploaded then I will post MORE! But Saturday was the 4th of July... and it was pretty fun. It was the first time I wasn't in Idaho so I was a little bummed. Every year my Grandparents have a breakfast so we made our own breakfast, and it was yummy. Well unfortanatly Globe doesn't have a parade so we gave Brookie her own little parade by showering her with candy all day! Then we had the family over for a BBQ that Aaron's family does every year... again it was yummy. Then once it got dark the whole family went to watch the fireworks. We just went to the Miami church and watched from there. They were pretty good for some small town fireworks. It lasted about 30 min. and they had all sorts of fireworks like hearts and starts and smily faces... it was pretty fancy! Brookie had fun though... she got to jump on the trampoline with all of her cousins and she got soaking wet to keep cool. She wasn't so fond of the fireworks, she was just tired she crashed on the way home. All in all the 4th was pretty fun, but I did declare that next year we will be in Idaho for the 4th!
